Tea Party Inspiration

Warning: there is nothing music related in this post. I just have to share a little story with you guys. Remember the amazing bridal shoot I did with my friend Jess? (I’d be surprised if you don’t because I talk about it all. the. time.) Well one day before the shoot, I was talking with my friend Sam about weekend plans, and sort of mumbled “styled bridal shoot with Jess” and moved onto other things. He was like, “Wait what?” I repeated myself. He responded, “All I heard is, you’re having a little girls’ tea party. But the grown-up version.”

Jess and I found this hilarious and regularly referred to the shoot at “our tea party.” Jess’s husband Rene did not find this so funny, as he came to help with lighting for the shoot, and he was not participating in nobody’s tea party. Ha. But I digress. After the shoot was over, I still had tea parties rolling around in my brain. And I continued to stalk the world of wedding blogs like I always do. And… what do you know? Sam was not that far off the target. Of course someone has already combined the sweetness of a little girls’ tea party with the fabulousness (yes I know that’s not a real word) of bridal fashion and styling. Not just someone. Several people. So enjoy the inspiration. Brides + tea = magic.

Love it! Some of the shots actually look like our meadow; don’t you think?

Swoon!!! So lovely and romantic… my shower in Virginia was at a tea house and I loved all the yester-year nods. There is just something so beautiful about a fine tea set… all I needed was a meadow 😉

Such stunning photos! But that first picture with the little girl and the bunny is too precious :) xo

Beautiful shoot! LOVE all of the gowns and the brightly colored flowers.

[…] (which should not be a stretch, because clearly I love weddings.) I had a lot of fun creating the Tea Party Inspiration post, so I thought why not do something similar every week? Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I […]
