Hi guys! We’re back to regular posting. The contest is going great – if you haven’t already, scroll down from this post and vote for your favorite wedding to win free wedding photography! The contest closes this Saturday. But for those of you who are sick of hearing about the contest, we are going to move on now.![]()

I was recently asked about what music to play during dinner at your wedding. Here is my response: whatever you want! Don’t worry, though, I’ll provide suggestions. But I think dinner is the time to play all your favorite songs (love songs are fitting, of course, but they don’t have to be.) This is, of course, the time for more subdued music, because you should have the opportunity to play all your upbeat favorites later in the evening. If you are a country fan, play country music! If you love timeless classics, play them! (You can find a list here.) And if your taste is all over the place, even better. Make a playlist of all your favorites, and this will give your guests another opportunity to get to know you as they enjoy their dinner.
And if the plethora of good music out there in the world overwhelms you, fear not. I’m going to share a few different examples of dinner playlists to give you somewhere to start. Starting today, with my personal favorites. If you are at my wedding, this is probably what you will hear while you eat dinner. (Note: This is a sampling, because my list is quite long. Plus I will undoubtedly fall in love with more between now and then.)

Such a great list! I totally neglected dinner music, I would’ve taken this whole list. Such sweet songs on here! “Forever” is one of my favorites.
Thank you for including Pink – she’s got some great music that NOT “angry chick” stuff (not to mention killer vocal techniques).
Have we won yet?????????????? Still voting for Tera And Joey
