Today I want to introduce you to a new photographer here in Monterey County, California. Her name is Laura Hernandez. A bit about Laura: she is an amazing wife and mom, a wise Christian woman, and an incredible mentor and friend to many. I met her through mutual friends, and we go to the same church here in Salinas. I hope she won’t be embarrassed that I share this, but I always notice Laura and her husband when I am singing on stage at church, because their hands are always clasped tightly to one another, with each free hand high in the air, eyes closed tightly as they worship. Their love for one another and for the Lord is apparent and contagious.

Laura has recently begun the adventure of turning her hobby and passion into a career. Her photographic passion is portraiture, because of her love for people. She captures them beautifully. Later this week I am excited to share with you guys an engagement session that she photographed.
