The recessional. After your vows are said, the “I do’s” are done, the kiss is over, and you are announced as a married couple for the first time. Next comes the walk back down the aisle together, looking out into the faces of your loved ones, and stepping into your future together. I personally think the recessional song is fairly important, wouldn’t you agree? I love recessional songs that are upbeat and fun, and send the message, “we’re super excited that we just did that!” and also, “let’s go get the party started!”

I love this list!!! Do you think you could do a similar one for pop songs that could be used as processionals? That would be amazing and so useful, since I’m currently stuck on the processional choice. Thanks!
It made me happy that Frank Sinatra was at the top of the list… we had “I’ve got the world on a string” play.
This is a great list…
A fantastic list – you make my dreams come true is an awesome one!!!
omg HOME – obsessed, that song would be a PERFECT recessional song. Love the “God Only Knows” suggestion too – We exited to a song by The Sounds called “24 Hours” – the lyrics are awesome, there are some bells in the song, and it was just a fun, upbeat rock song to get the rest of our day going with!
Only wanna comment on few general things, The website design is perfect, the subject matter is rattling great : D.
