Real Wedding | Jessica & Brad

I’m very excited to share another gorgeous wedding from an awesome local photographer today! Photographers, actually, Brandon and Erin from B&E Photographs are soon to be married themselves. It was fun to discover, after Brandon contacted me, that we have several friends and acquaintances in common – small world! Anyway, this wedding is a lovely combination of rustic chic, DIY, and general awesomeness – this group of people clearly had a ball. (There are some amazing shots of the bridal party which I will share later.) Enjoy!

From the bride, Jessica: “Brad and I met in college in Texas back in 2008. Since Brad is from California and I am from Texas, many people would be coming from out of town. Four of Brad’s friends even drove 25 hours straight from Los Angeles to Houston. We knew we wanted a wedding that felt more like a fun party rather than a traditional formal wedding. I also wanted it to show our personalities so I did many of the details myself with lots of help from friends and family. I handmade all of the bouquets of flowers and boutonnieres to get the exact style I wanted. The music at the reception was really important to us as well. The dancing ended up being our absolute favorite part of the wedding. You would have never known that Brad’s friends and my friends had just met the weekend of our wedding. Even now when we look back at our wedding a year later, it was one of the most fun filled weekends of our lives.”
