One lazy afternoon last week I did one of my favorite things – I took a couch nap. I had gone into work early for a meeting after working until 11 pm the night before, so I felt a nap was in order. Let me tell you friends – I love my bed. It’s one of my favorite places to be. But the problem with taking a nap in my bed is that – it ends up being a lengthy slumber. I’m a silent/complete darkness kind of sleeper (I’ve been using earplugs since college.) Which is why the couch is a perfect place for a nap – there’s light, and noise (I leave the tv on), and although our couch is comfy, I don’t stand the risk of sleeping more than an hour, because at that point I get uncomfortable, or disturbed by the light and/or noise. Ok, where am I going with this? Last week during my lovely couch nap, I had the tv set to Country Music Television, because it was pleasant background noise. When I woke up, I turned over to see this video. It’s just the cutest thing I ever did see, so I had to share it. Unfortunately, You Tube will not allow me to embed the video, so you have to go over there to watch it. But it’s worth it, I promise.
Did you go? I mean, not like a girl who looks like that would ever be selling honey on the side of the road, but still… so cute, right? Miranda Lambert is a lucky gal to have landed that one. Although she’s gorgeous and uber talented, so I guess they’re equally matched.
