Seriously. Does that image not take your breath away? Goodness me. I’m thrilled to share this amazingly gorgeous Yosemite wedding with you guys today. Partly because Cameron Ingalls did an incredible job at capturing the beauty of the day. Partly because I’m on a wilderness kick right now and the scenery in Yosemite is mind blowing. But moreso because the bride, Jenny, is a sweet friend of mine. She led a bible study that I was in years ago, and honestly guys, (I’m a little embarrassed to say this because I’ve never told her) she inspires me. She waited for the man that God had for her, and I know that she found her perfect match in Jonathan. They are so sweet together. Watch the video below by Cana Video Productions and you’ll see what I mean. Plus you’ll just be blown away by more stunning imagery. Ah, so much goodness at once, it’s hard to take in.

Jonathan and Jenny got married at The Wawona Hotel, where both Jenny’s parents and her grandparents were married! When Jenny’s dad gave her away, he gave Jonathan a pair of her itty bitty baby shoes from childhood. So precious. The bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Eyes Of A Child, by Fernando Ortega.

Jenny says: “Our first dance was to Sunday by Bebo Norman. We were married on a Sunday and loved the song when we were dating. The father/daughter dance was I Could Have Danced All Night by Frank Sinatra. As a little girl my sister and I would trade off dancing on my father’s feet while he sang that song to us. Our dear friends sang Ring Of Fire, by Johnny Cash at the reception.
We had fun, great music that the whole family had fun with. It was a beautiful outdoorsy wedding, so no rap or R&B. The music was refreshing, fun & life giving. We wanted our wedding to give a deeper message of the depth of God’s heart and his beautiful hand of purity and creativity.”

Sigh. What an incredible day. Congratulations Jenny and Jonathan! May God bless your marriage and may every day be sweeter than one before.
