Hope you all had a fabulous long weekend and a fun-filled 4th of July! Today’s super sweet engagement session is by the very talented Kurt Boomer. I love the location, the props, the details, everything! Such a great set of images. And here is the couple’s very sweet story, as told by Celine:
Kurt and I actually went to high school together and even rode the same bus to school but somehow we never ran into each other during that time. A few years later Kurt moved back to Seattle to finish off university. He was at a mutual’s friend’s house when I just happened to stop by. It was supposed to be a quick visit but Kurt wouldn’t let me leave and he was pretty convincing! He was also pretty convincing to get me to go on a date with him. It was a whirlwind romance and we spent everyday of the next few year together. After graduating Kurt decided to join the Navy to be a corpsman and we dated long distance during his time in boot camp and training. After being away from each other for those long six months, he decided he wanted to make sure we where never going to be separated and did his best to keep me around by proposing. I moved down to southern California to be with him. Later that year he did a tour with the Marines in Afghanistan for seven months and it was difficult being apart for so long with little communication! Kurt was great at writing old fashioned love letters and we are closer now than ever! And here we are five years later and getting married July 16th in Seattle.
Congratulations Kurt and Celine! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.
A big thank you to Kurt Boomer for sharing these gorgeous photos with us!
