I’m thrilled to share this wedding which was submitted by Diana Maire Photography, because it is stunningly beautiful. The venue is breathtaking, the photography is incredible, and it is evident from the photos how in love the bride and groom are with one another.
A note from the lovely bride, Sarah:
Regarding our dating experience, Joey and I met our junior year of college (we were debate partners), and we were head over heels for each other by senior year, but the timing was wrong. My friends told me I would get over Joey (and his friends told him he would get over me), but two years after graduating we were as deeply in love as ever (despite barely speaking during those years). By the time we started dating, Joey was living in Virginia, and I was living in California, so we had a long-distance relationship for two years, while I was finishing graduate school, and I was finally married to my best friend on August 22nd, 2010, five and a half years after I fell in love with him.
Sarah and Joey were married at a gorgeous private residence in Stockton, California.
Grandparents and Parents were seated to the Main Theme or “Feather Theme” from Forrest Gump
Processional: “Cantero,” from the Angelis soundtrack
Bridal Entrance: “Farewell Aragog” from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Sarah says: I love beautiful violin music, and I figured my guests wouldn’t know where it was from)
Everyone, including the guests, sang “Love (One Another)” by the Maranatha Singers as a hymn
Bride’s little sisters sang “You Belong to Me”
Recessional: “Here Comes the Sun” (the Bob Khaleel version)
Photography: Diana Maire Photography
Ceremony: Private residence in Stockton, California
Reception: The Dancing Fox Winery and Bakery
Cake: Pastry Chefs at The Dancing Fox
Thank you so much to Diana for sharing these beautiful photos with us! Congratulations and best wishes to the lovely couple, Sarah and Joey!
