Your Soundtrack | Lindsey (Lakeside Country Chic Wedding + Country/Pop/Rock/Metal Playlist)

Hello friends! I’m back from Disneyland (which was amazing) and we are back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Your Soundtrack = My response to brides asking for music help. If you would like help with music for your wedding day, contact me! I’d love to do what I can.

Today’s soundtrack is for Lindsey. Here’s what Lindsey had to say: “Hey! I just found your website and after reading the very first article I could not help but think that you would be perfect to give me a hand.

My fiance and I agree on similar tastes in music, but there are also things that we each love that the other does not care for. I love country and could not do without it, yet he hates it. I also love Christian music, pop, and the good old rock and roll classics (ACDC, The Police, Def Leopard, Bonnie Tyler… just to name a small few). Edward also likes the rock’n’roll classics so that helps out a lot. However he also loves the heavy metal.

It is such a span that could be played, and I also want my guests to have a good time and dance the night away. Many of them have grown up with the rock’n’roll so that helps. And most listen to country. But it’s bringing the rest into it.

We are having a causal, outdoor kinda country chic weddding at a family’s house on a lake with the reception being held on the Air force base for my husband to be.”

Happy to help Lindsey! I came up with a cocktail/dinner playlist for you, and a dancing playlist, as well as a list of metal love songs that I compiled for another bride, in case you want to include any of those for your fiance’s sake. 😉 Happy listening!

You REALLY know your jams, Colleen :) I love that about you especially because I don’t have any clue about who sings what anymore. And Kelly Sweet is a photographer here in my town. I love her and her work! Have a wonderful day, friend xo
